DDIG – “Book Authors: Their Inspirations & Writing Process”
Monday, March 14, 2022
7:00 – 8:30 pm Central

Stuck author Jack Anger & Once Upon An Idea by Vaidehi Natu

Reading is an exercise in empathy; an exercise in walking in someone else’s shoes for a while.” Come walk in the shoes of authors Jack Anger “Stuck” and Vaidehi Natu “Once Upon An Idea” as they each provide us with a book reading of their published children’s books followed by a live interview. Bring your questions for these authors about their writing and publication process and what inspired them to become authors! Both books are available for purchase on Amazon.

Stuck by Jack Anger and illustrated by Nisa Kuzucan is about the pandemic.  “The pandemic has us all feeling a little stuck. We watched our favorite restaurants close, canceled our trips, and stayed 6 feet apart. We even ran out of toilet paper! But even when the world is forcing us to be apart, we find a way to connect. Relive the humorous, confusing, and heartwarming moments of the pandemic through the eyes of a child and admire how resilient we truly are.”

In Once Upon An Idea by Vaidehi Natu, “Eureka is a light bulb. An ordinary light bulb glows, dims, and gets replaced by a new bulb. Eureka dreams of glowing forever — like an IDEA! But how does a little light bulb become a great idea? Come join Eureka to find out how this extraordinary light bulb glows forever!”
